We can all offer this_
Dismantling
We take down complete industrial installations carefully, reliably and, first and foremost, we do it fast – it makes no difference if we’re dealing with individual production facilities in a large chemical industry park or if the task just involves a disused paint factory.
INDUSTRIAL DISMANTLING
Each individual plant is properly disassembled and transported away with the help of large-scale machine and crane technology. We then either dismantle the buildings themselves or, if so requested, we leave them in such a state that new installations can be quickly set up on the premises.
A particular challenge facing us is the correct handling of contaminated production residues left behind in the old facilities and industrial assembly equipment. We separate these meticulously and then either recycle or dispose of them appropriately in accordance with the German Waste Management and Product Recycling Act.
POWER PLANT DISMANTLING

Dismantling of nuclear power plants – our thinking is always future-proof. So we are optimally equipped to serve the future market of nuclear plant dismantling. It is a fact that inquiries from Germany and also neighbouring countries regarding such projects are currently on the rise. Many coal-fired power stations and gas power plants are looking at the end of their service life. The remnants of this era will be disused chimneys, cooling towers and ruined boiler houses – stark reminders visible for miles around that nobody wishes to see.
The Hagedorn specialists take over the complete dismantling of your nuclear power plant and will turn its location back into green fields. Preparatory work such as drilling and trial blasting are all part of the process. Our blasting of the Knepper power station in Castrop-Rauxel in 2019 was one of the biggest detonations in Germany.
Decommissioning nuclear power stations usually involves projects that boast quite an impressive scope. It is no rare occurrence that up to 1.5 million cubic metres of volume has to be removed, up to 200,000 cubic metres of solid mass transported away and up to 150,000 tonnes of building rubble salvaged. Work exhibiting such dimensions requires specialists who know exactly what they are doing and who can access a process chain whose links mesh together perfectly. Hagedorn handles the dismantling of nuclear power plants quickly and efficiently. And we accompany our clients to appointments with the relevant authorities and during the necessary approval procedures.
