In our team you are going to meet specialists who, between them, have gathered together half a century of experience in the blasting of bridges, bunkers, foundations, rocks, culverts, chimneys, wind farms, offices, residential properties and also, of course, industrial buildings.
We blast office blocks, residential properties and industrial buildings safely and reliably. And it makes no difference if they are made of brickwork, concrete, reinforced concrete or steel skeleton structures. We do them all. Our experts are always there when it is a question of challenging detonations and building blasting of any mass having high temperatures or when the action takes place under water. They make up the group of those few people in Europe who master directional blasting of chimney stacks with tilting joints. And they have blasted so many more bunkers and culverts than hardly any other firm in Germany. But that is not all of the skills on offer by a long chalk. A special challenge is that presented by towers and the foundations in wind power installations. These are so strongly reinforced in order to resist the powerful force of the wind – but we nevertheless succeed in toppling them, too!
We provide relevant prognoses and measure all vibrations that occur. In this way a complete record is always available to prove that our blasting is carried out within the permitted range of values.
With directional blasting we insert a notch in the chimney stack and create a tilt joint so that a definite direction of fall is guaranteed. If only limited space is available to accommodate rubble and debris, we fold in the detonation at several different levels. The tower then collapses in on itself just like a folding yardstick. Even bunkers are not safe when we are around. We blast every kind of concrete and prepare even the most solid construction so that it can be completely removed.
As part of motorway building programmes or quarry work, we blast the toughest rock formations so that the mass of boulders and stones can be transported away without any problem.
Our key to this is the strategy employed. The first step is to set up individual blasting concepts. Only then do we carry out the drilling work needed to house the explosive charges. Anchor drilling also constitutes part of our core business activities.
For operations in sensitive environments, we use expanding mortar. When this is filled into the drilling holes, it presses the concrete apart so powerfully that the excavators can then break up any concrete easily.
