Maaßen Erdbewegungen - Transporte GmbH was founded in 1995 by Marc Maaßen. At that time still a small ‘one-man operation’, the company grew steadily and became a permanent fixture in the Kerpen/Cologne area. Today, the customer-loyal company complements Hagedorn in the fields of earthmoving, demolition, transport and recycling.

The Hagedorn Group's new site opened in September 2023 on a former 17,400 square metre landfill site on Venloer Straße in Cologne. The new building now offers state-of-the-art office space for around 200 Hagedorn employees.
