Civil engineering project in Saarland

The Hagedorn Group is once again demonstrating its expertise in civil engineering with the BAB 1 industrial park project in Tholey, near Saarbrücken. On an area of over 50,000 square metres, outstanding work characterised by maximum precision and efficiency is being carried out in two construction phases. On behalf of Bremer, the Hagedorn team is ensuring that the construction is not only carried out according to plan, but also with the highest quality.

The challenges on the construction site are manifold: in addition to milling, screening and stabilising the soil, particularly hard rock layers also had to be overcome for the foundation work. Only with a special rock cutter could the ground be processed in such a way that the foundation work and trenches could be constructed to the required depth and width. Drainage and the laying of media lines are also already in full swing. The team is relying on powerful machines such as tracked and mobile excavators, crawlers and dumpers to ensure efficient implementation.

With a clear goal in mind - to complete the first construction phase on time by May 2025 - the Hagedorn Group is relying on concentrated machine power and precise planning.
